I love the breakfast here it's always been spot on. All you can eat and cheap!
Just stayed at the Portland for two nights and the staff were very friendly . The room was ok clean and warm. The food was excellent and beer even more. Would stay there again when I'm in the area.
Had a great time the 2 nights we stopped, The staff where so friendly and nothing was too much trouble . The breakfast chef and the house maid made us so welcome , would recommend this to anyone Thanks for making our stay pleasant and welcoming
Absolutely brilliant as usual. Cannot fault the food or staff. We regularly visit for week day lunch and carvery. Looking forward to Christmas lunch this year at the Portland
I would say one of, if not the best place to go in Ashington. Friendly staff and good food. Plenty of rooms for the weary traveler.
