Visited today for a wash and polish of my Vauxhall insignia, and a vacuum, polish etc of interior. Was quoted 20 which I thought was reasonable. Returned to collect car, and all appeared well until I checked interior. I have had issues with another hand car wash in the area who broke a lever on the drivers seat and refused to accept responsibility. As it happens my mechanic was able to repair it fully (and for free) so I didnt worry to much once it was fixed that time. It has also been cleaned subsequently at a hand car wash without issue, so it is clearly quite possible to clean it without breaking it. Exactly the same issue occurred today with the lever, PLUS the plastic trim which edges the seat was cracked. My take on it was that whoever cleaned the car interior kneeled on the plastic trim, and their weight cracked it. Theyve also been rough when cleaning the lever, which has broken it similar to last time. Did they accept ANY responsibility for either the trim or the lever- not a chance. Half an hour of reassuring the guy that neither defect had been present when I left the car, that were both absolutely explainable by careless treatment of the car whilst they were cleaning it, and that I expected better when Ive left the car in their hands fell on deaf, denying ears. I will not return to nisa car wash, and would urge anyone thinking of doing so to check your car VERY publicly and conspicuously before leaving it, and dont expect them to entertain any sense of responsibility for your property. They clearly dont accept responsibility or genuinely care about service. If they did, they wouldnt tell you all about the cars they DONT break when cleaning them, theyd tell you how they deal with customers whose car they HAVE damaged.
Husband took our Renault espace to this car was regularly on a weekend to get cleaned, until 2 weeks ago.. They jet washed our car and took the paint off the driver side door panel, my husband didn't notice till he got home as he just sat in the car whilst getting washed, no one from the car wash mentioned it so my husband just drove the car home as normal.. We rang them up straight away to be told it had nothing to do with the company.. Not even an apology.. Had no problems with them up until now.. We won't be back and they've lost a loyal customer.
I get my car cleaned here regularly the lads do a canny job for a reasonable price.
