The staff and the care was second to none..from the minute I arrived I knew what was about to happen at every stage of my treatment. I was treated with resoect snd the care was fabulous ..12 hours ftom addmittence and i was home again after having full knee replacement... the health care system at its best...all hopital staff were amazing..
I had to have a Cardioversiin just recently and I was overwhelmed by the staff in all departments . From the coffee shop to the Cardiologist . I was treated very well and everyone was so friendly . I decided to write a review . Thank you

Satisfactory care, some of the nurses are not a s they are SUPPOSED to be ' angels' in my experiences of this hospital.
Over the weekend I suffered the misfortune of standing barefoot on a stone resulting in some of it becoming lodged in my foot. On doctors advice I was told to go to the walk in department at Wansbeck. The staff were excellent including Dr Mike (I must have forgot his second name) who administered a local anaesthetic and removed the object. From me walking in the door and having this done I can't have been there more than 45 minutes! I honestly expected to have a wait and wouldn't have minded if I did as I know just how hard our NHS staff work, often without thanks. Thank you to the staff at the walk in centre, your service is very much appreciated!
